The Snowy Day
When we woke up it was snowing. the flakes got bigger and bigger throughout the day.
then we got our snow stuff on and went out to play.
My little sister was so small she sunk in the snow.
I was not strong enough to get her out. So we had to call Mommy and she got her out and helped clear some snow.
After my little sister was safe, we whent sleding. We fell but we tried again and then we did it!
We had hot co-co and a cookie and warmed our toes up. then we fell asleep in front of the fireplace. It was the nicest day of my life.

Maeve,
That was wonderful! I shall make sure that Torunn gets to enjoy your reading, and then we can sit and wait for the snow to come. Congratulations!

What a nice story with very careful artwork. We don't have snow in Australia but it sounds like lots of fun, except maybe if you are so small you get buried like your poor sister !
