Jean-Michel Cousteau is following in his father's footsteps, but the son of Jacques Cousteau has made a name for himself as an explorer, environmentalist, educator and film producer. Cousteau is the founder of the Ocean Futures Society, a non-profit marine conservation organization.

Jean-Michel Cousteau is a French explorer, environmentalist, educator, and film producer. The first son of ocean explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, he served as executive vice president of his father's organization, The Cousteau Society, for 20 years before he began producing his own environmental films and starting the Ocean Futures Society.
